Rose City Politics has a long proud history in local Windsor radio. Starting off in 2005 as Stuck In The Middle, the brainchild of University of Windsor graduate Kieran McKenzie, the show revolved around discussing local issues in and about Windsor.
In 2006 Stuck In The Middle became Make This Your Canada and Rose City Politics, an hour long show that spent the first half hour discussing national politics followed by a half hour of local politics. Host included... along with regular guests Chris Holt, Paul Synnott, xxxx, xxxx,
In 2007 Make This Your Canada was officially retired and Rose City Politics moved to it's current format of a one hour show dedicated to local politics and events in Windsor and Essex County. Kieran McKenzie was joined by Rino Bortolin and Paul Synnott as regular hosts.
Mark Boscariol joined the show as a regular guest in the summer of 2008 and transitioned to a full time host in the fall of that year. Pat Papadeas joined RCP in xxx of 2010/2011. In March of 2014 Rino Bortolin departed the show, temporarily to run in the Municipal Election as a Councillor for Ward 3 and resigned in October of that year after his successful run for the Ward 3 seat. Replacing him was Don Merrifield, a local realtor who had run in the 2010 election for Ward 3.
Rose City Politics prides itself on presenting a broad spectrum of political analysis and commentary from its’ hosts, with views from the left, right, centre, independent, business and academia. We are a diverse group of individuals who enjoy vigorous debate and discussion on and off the air.
